The music industry has been on a decline for many years now, and for many diehard fans, this has been a great disappointment. The radios are polluted with half-hearted rhymes and nonsense lyrics, leaving fans with no choice but to listen to the lackluster music.
From this chaos emerges the incomparable O.Smith, hailing from Bowie, MD. He has been rapping since he was a young boy, and now O.Smith has crafted his talent into an arsenal of lyrical warfare.
He is very quick-witted with his rhymes. He is a skilled freestyler, rapping about anything in sight, and taking the lyrical content beyond the rest. O.Smith is also talented with the pen, which is quite easier for him because of the time he gets to put together his lyrics.
As of recently, he has acquired the skill fashioned by other MCs such as Jay-Z and T.I.: creating full-length songs in his head without ever writing anything down.
Alongside the lyrical wiz is upcoming producer, Jroc, also known as Rocketman. Jroc has been making beats since the age of 11, and has perfected his craft and makes some of the best outside-of-the-box beats. He is skilled enough to make a beat with any vibe or feel. Hailing from Waldorf, MD, many of his beats tend to include a go-go feel to them.
Nonetheless, the duo strives to make the best of their work. They have been working together since the Fall of 2006 when the two discovered that they make an incredible MC-producer team. With O.Smith's lyrics getting better and better over the years, and Jroc creating outstanding production, there is no telling where their hard work and effort takes them.
As of August 2008, they Deep Space team is putting the finishing touches on their debut EP.
