Strange Days

About Me

First formed in 1968 to play Doors, West Coast, Jazz Rock. Prog Rock, and own compositions. (One member still survives!!) Went through various line-up changes, styles and fashions playing the music of the day and originals , getting some good support slots in earlier times with the likes of Quo, Floyd, Jimmy Cliff, Julie Driscol & Brian Auger ,Georgie Fame, Zoot Money etc.. Still on the road mainly playing covers at functions nowadays. but still have the buzz for playing live. The music tracks on this site are from the years gone by mostly originals with the exception of America. There was a hit version of this by the NICE in 1968 and basically this is a modified version that includes a Timpani and electronic Simmons drum solo in it. In all 8mins long , you have been warned if you don't like prog rock!! There is a cover of The Nice's Karelia and a bit of the Feeling mixed with Supertramp. Hoping to up-date the player with some new originals over the next few months. Ken Cook still writes and home records music mainly as an hobby, however ageing can be a Strange Experience!! Watch this Space!!
