I recently moved to Berkeley after four years (more or less) living in Flagstaff, AZ. I was in Flagstaff from July 12, 2004 - March 3, 2009 minus 3 months in LA in the summer of 2005 and 5 months in Australia in early 2006. I grew up in the Buffalo, NY area but consider Flagstaff and especially to be LA much more home than Buffalo ever was. I <3 California and am so glad to be calling this state home again.I've been VEGAN since August 14, 2005 - vegetarian since December 25, 1995. I love veganism - it IS peace to me!!!My biggest passion is the environment. I was all up in campus activism as a student. I'm becoming more and more involved with the local activism scene in Flagstaff and am glad to call this place home for the time being. :)I love dance/techno/trance/electronica/etc. Raves are fun and provide intense natural (no drugs for me) highs! The fact that I enjoy raves tends to surprise most people.Je parle francais, mais je ne parle pas tres bien. C'est triste parce-que j'ai etudie la langue pour six ans dans ecole. (pretend the proper accents are there). I'm thinking I'll learn some Spanish, but mess it up with french words/a french accent.People tend to describe me as a ray of sunshine!!
