TGS was formed in the fall of 2007, beginning with a small and simple goal, “To compose and perform some upbeat Christian inspired rock music to share with friends in Church”
Who would ever imagine such a small goal would turn into what is now a full blown Ministry aimed at bringing the Gospel to those in need. Be it in need of further spiritual growth, or finding a way to your first steps to a life with God, TGS came together to help facilitate people in need with their music.
The name for the first EP of TGS “The First Steps” is not only aimed at its audience, but to the members themselves who, in one way or another, are all taking their first steps in a new Chapter in their life with Christ.
First steps don’t happen only once in our lives, but happens daily as we die and humble our selves to God. God in his great and eternal love gave us his only son to take upon our sin and die for us on the cross. “The First Steps” EP is our way of expressing our appreciation and love for Christ and the joy of knowing one day we will take our “First Steps” through the gates of Heaven. We in TGS hope with our music we can share the good news, joy and love to others.
The Bible teaches us to serve others, it can be it sweeping a floor, helping those in need or leading a bible study. For all the members in TGS, this is how we hope to serve you!
