Where There’s Still Trees

About Me

W.T.S.T. is a multi-faceted musical contraption, (de)constructed using a blend of floating improvisational building blocks, containing elements of naïve free-folk noise, post-psych afro-jazz doom-metal, and pseudo-expressionist proto-punk art-rock.
W.T.S.T was made manifest in its earthly form in the basement of a West Philadelphia punk crash-house (my bedroom) sometime in 1998 or 99, if my crippled memory serves true.
W.T.S.T. was discarded after my conversion, but has now been resurrected as a sociological experiment on the creative output of an anarcho-primitivist acid-casualty upon awakening into the divine plan of the father of the heavenly lights.
Part drone monk and part prophetic fool, I sing psalms of praise and lament, as the Empire of the Dead crumbles around me.

W.T.S.T. is in the process of releasing a bunch of ongoing improvised sound experiments as they accumulate. Most will be limited to single digits, and released on Winpress Records and Old Order Tapes.
I am looking to do some releases on other DIY labels. I am espescially interested in tape labels and labels that do hand-made packaging.

W.T.S.T. has started doing live performances in Lancaster/Central PA, and are always looking for more.
Art galleries, warehouses, and homes are all desirable. I can play at whatever volume is appropriate, and am especially interested in doing small shows in spaces where I can interact with people and experiment with a performance/production experiment that I am currently developing.
I will create atmospheric loops, while cooking diner or doing a skill share or whatever.
I would like to pretend that W.T.S.T. is art music, all evidence to the contrary.
