I am Deacon Henry...but you can call me "Skip". I am a multifaceted artist...I'm a professional painter - and a song writer. January 2008 marks the re-release of my Gospel album "Taking It To The Streets" . The album is designed to do just as the title implies: to take the Word to the street. My album features a collection of artists who soak each message with sincerity because these artists are not "performers" within the gospel music genre - they are simply artists who love God. As so, these artists effectively take God's message to the street where it's needed most. I wrote each song and delivering the messages through their own God given gifts you will meet Blues singer Sugar Nook, NeoSoul artist Gem Avery, rappers YA, Ikkie Skeat, Carlos Ogden, and Craz. Gospel songstress Porsha Ree Ray also makes a stirring appearance on this project. This 12 track album is jointly produced by B-Rock and Sam Addams. If I must say so myself "Taking it to The Streets" is a "must listen"!! The choice of artists and SUPER producers catapults this re-release into the masterpiece category!!!
