Influences: at first: life, family, friends, ...
and of course every musician I had the opportunity to play with as well as music I listened to through the years - whether favorite or not ;)
greatest influence on me as a bassist have had Flea, Tim Commerford, Jeff Ament, Roger Glover - just to name a few - there were surely some more, but to metion them all would take too long...
Artists like T.M., Vic Wooten, Marcus Miller are great and they really impress me, but I don't think that there's an urgent need in achieving this kind of virtuosity when you're playing in a Rock-Band (seems to me somehow over the top, even though it's cool to play some flashy stuff: "just a quick one, while the guitarist is busy changing strings" haahaa!). In general I'm really happy building a base with a tight drummer for other musicians.
