GFA (IS NO MORE)

We are a hardcore band from Eugene, Oregon. Our members consist of past Eugene bands such as, Outreach, Tempting Fate, EPD, Under Enuff, and The Last Battle. We play hardcore music with a message of how the scene once was and how it should still be. We hope to make a change within our scene and show people that unity does still exist and that you can still go to a hardcore show and feel respected. There has been an influx of violence in our scene and it's gotten to a point that absolutley has to come to an end. We fuse a lot of different influences into our sound, but over all it's just straight forward old school hardcore. Lots of fast parts, group sing alongs galore, tons of 2 step parts, hints of metal, and yes heavy ass breakdowns. We are not a "tough guy band", fuck that stupid label put on hardcore bands. We have truly thought out lyrics and quite frankly just wanna have fun. The name does not mean we are tough or support "tough guy" antics. It just popped into our heads one night. We will probably change it eventually. The lyrics for a few songs are in the blog section. Check them out, learn something perhaps. Our debut demo is finally done and available at our shows.
