it's time, chicago!

About Me

daughter of a prison librarian, writer of tomes, hurler of snowballs, garbler of speech, sleep champ, part-time phone bill killa, full-time microsoft excel jockey, sometime 'aunt', loyal to the point of it sometimes being a bad thing.

My Interests

typing fast enough to make everyone else in the immediate vicinity nervous, extensive research, sleeping for abnormally long periods of time, making dvd reels for the people, writing all times of day and night, trying to get over my college radio fade-in/fade-out tendencies, staying on my grind and sheeeit

I'd like to meet:

synesthetes

more librarians

people who gave a damn then and who still give one now

anyone flying in from pensacola or tallahassee with well-wishes

people who aren't ashamed to get their dance on while they clean the house

christiane amanpour

anyone who has a cure for the infamous "linda blair problem"

others who have problems getting rid of periodicals

sleep champs

people who consider lawnmower racing a legitimate sport

fellow misanthropes

For a long, long time now, I have been railing against unnecessary, demeaning comments I've heard some ignorant dudes make toward women while out on the street. I've been on the receiving end of this...
