I enjoy playing golf in the summer months. I've been thinking of getting my teaching certificate. Cooking for friends.. I guess that one goes without saying. Movies...Blockbuster.com has become my new best friend. I enjoy playing and listening to music. I play the drums in our kickass basement jam band. lol. Actually it's my roommate on the keys and me. Were not so good but it's good for letting the frustrations out. The karoke picture is from a "jam" session. I enjoy most outdoor activities. Hiking, camping, snowboarding. I always try to get down to Hocking Hills a couple times a year.
I mainly listen to my sirius radio and Howard in the morning. The programed buttons on my radio are as follows...
1. 70's Channel
2. Howard Stern Channel
3. Hippy Jam Channel (Phish, Dead, Etc)
4. Jazz Funk
5. Hair Nation (80's Glam Rock)
6. Other
Blues Brothers is my favorite, Caddyshack, Napolean Dynamite, Spinal Tap, The Big Lebowski, anything with Will Ferrel in it, Wedding Crashers. If you can't tell I'm a comedy kind of guy.
Isn't it the greatest when for some reason you are home at 11:00 AM on a weekday to see Bob and his Beauties on the Price is Right. It's so rare that you are ever home at that time. It's such a treat now a day.... something I took for granted during my summers growing up as a child. I also like The Learning Channel, Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, The Daily Show, Family Guy, Simpsons, Weeds, Americas Funniest Home Videos (except when Bob Sagget hosts..he's such a douche bag).
I just finished reading a great book about a 28 yr old guy who decided to retire. He was tired of his job and just wanted to see what retirement was all about. Its called Earlybird , A Memoir of Early Retirement. Easy reading and very funny. The guy was one of Davis Lettermans writers, so the book has a certain sense of humor.
Holy shit! I don't have any heros... no wait. Alf.
