Carlos Henrique Pereira - Kain

ENGLISH:Carlos Henrique Pereira (aka Kain) is a composer, acoustic piano and acoustic guitar player from Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil.Although he studied classical music at his hometown conservatories, jazz harmony and improvisation while living in the US and always played Brazilian music, Carlos is primarily a self-taught composer and musician.In 1983 he was the youngest composer ever, at the time, to have a piece performed at the 5th Biennial of Brazilian Contemporary Music which took place at the Sala Cecilia Meireles in Rio de Janeiro, where his music was played along side some of the greatest Brazilian modern composers.Carlos has released 2 albums of his original compositions: the first titled “Reciclagem” with Mauro Senise and Marcos Suzano, the second, “Agua e Terra” with Dom Salvador and Cyro Baptista among many other guests.
