About Me

Alright, I'll type something reasonable here for a change. I don't want to fit in; I don't want to stand out. Obviously then, I'm off to a weird start. As such, I am deeply affected by the weird. If it's weird, bizarre, or somesuch you can bet I'll be intrigued. Normal is an insult of the highest magnitude for me. I have ABSOLUTELY no respect or tolerance for religion; followers of such paths be advised that you'll have almost no respect from me. I respect the right to choose, mind you, but I also respect the right to avoid the people that I think have chosen stupidly.I have no concerns over whether I make friends anywhere; if I do, so be it, if not, so be it, as well. As such, even here at this site I really have no interest in meeting new people. Not to say that I'm completely disinterested in meeting people, but it was NOT a factor in joining this site. If you'd like to become a 'friend' [a term that in real life requires about a decade of common experience, hence the ' marks] at least send me a message as to why you want to be my 'friend' or how you might already know me. Yes, I can read your info, but that doesn't tell me what about myself someone else found interesting enough to want to contact me. Many people find this place to be a competition to see who has the most 'friends'; if anything I have the exact opposite mentality. I WILL NOT simply add someone to my 'friend' list simply because they ask.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Neal Peart, Al Yankovic [except I did meet him, but, hey, you can never have enough "Weird" Al], Les Claypool, Inoue Kikuko, any of the close associates of the late great Terence McKenna [people i KNOW I could have intelligent conversation with]
