About Me

I am the proud Mother of Steven and Shane, the Target-Slayer from Taylor, MI, Brendon and the ever so proud Aunt of Kyle from Trenton, MI. Them there's fine boys, I tell ya! I have taught them boys well! They can burp the alphabet in one breath. They still have a little bit of work to do on the arm pit playing, 'cept for Brendon, ( the kid can play Ozzie Osborn on his arm pit )but they're a getting there. All kidding aside, I am very spiritual, I love my boys, I love my family such as they are, I love music (don't ask me to name songs or bands cause I'm not really good in that department) I feel music. I love my husband Bryan. We've hit some difficult patches in our journey through life. We have many regrets. We've had many tribulations. But, the one thing that got us through was faith. Faith in love and faith in God and faith that tomorrow will be a better day. I must admit that Bryan is the hardest job I have ever had in my life. There have been so many times that I would have liked to just call in sick or even dead, just so I wouldn't have to show up for the day's work. But, sooner or later hard work pays off. My boys, though they may not know it, really are the true center of my world. I love them like there is no tomorrow because some day there may not be a tomorrow. I haven't always been there emotionally for them, but I guess I just never knew how. I have had my own demons to deal with for years. Just Life! Waste of my talents, the insecurities of my life, the death of my wonderful Mother, the death of my wonderful Father, a failed first marriage. Nothing but uncertainty and fear of failure and fear of success. You know, ther's such a fine line between the two. I know that sometimes, I wasn't there emotionally, but I was always there spiritually. I want only the best for my boys. For Life! I know I am hard on my sons, but I only expect the best from them because They Are The Best!!! I mean that, each one of "My Gifts" ( My Sons )can be or can do anything, they are so intelligent, so gifted and in there own very special ways ever so very wonderful. The only thing my parents ever expected from me is to "Be a Good Citizen". I am that, but what else? There's a whole world out there. Boys...Carpe Diem!!!

My Interests

Our Soldiers and Our Veterans!! I am real interested in religion. I love music!! I love to dance. Singing is my real passion, but I have to keep the windows closed so the coyotes won't howl. It really upsets the neighbors!! Actually, I'm not too bad!! Maybe, not so good, but really truly not so bad. I have a true fondness for beer. I love watching B'Ball!! I love to see the kids progress through their ages. I have watched all 3 of my boys play basketball. My oldest even played college ball at Hope College for a season, Wow! Shane played a little (Football was his thing, but he sure knows the game and stats), B'man, Brendon, my youngest is all out for the game. He'll be playing this year for the Lenawee Magic 13-u. Can't wait!! I love Rasheed Wallace from the Pistons. He's such a Hot-Dogger. He brings enthusiasm, talent and Fun to the game!! He is such a JOY to watch. THE last time I really enjoyed watching the Pistons was when "The Bad Boys" were playing. But, Rasheed brings new life to the game!! Thank You!!

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to have met President Ray-Gun. We sure need his tactics and whoop-ass approach, NOW. Towels are not meant to be worn on your head, they're meant for wipin' your ass.I would like to meet Jesus, but not too soon.

Music:

I love M&M, but I really like the new ones with peanut butter center. But, seriously, I like just about everything even if I don't know the names of the bands!! Gospel, Bluegrass, I love! Throw in some Jazz and some Rhythm and Blues and it will complete my package. Judy Garland is really one of my favorites. Her life was tragic but her music is sensational. There will never be another voice like hers. Patsy Cline is my forte and so is my cousin Gail Winters. You really should look up her bio. She is frickin incredible!!

Movies:

As far as movies I'd have to say that Harold and Maude is one of my favorites. The Cat Stevens music in it is awesome. The Wizard of Oz is probably my favorite, but them dag-gone monkeys still scare the hell out of me! Clifford, too ( not the Big Red Dog ) Martin Short. And believe it or not, Doris Day movies,

Television:

The Simpsons!! Yes, most definitely, The Simpsons! Family Guy is creeping up there, though. In the off hours I watch the Biography, The History, Animal Planet and National Geographic. Boston Legal is terrific show. What great writers

Books:

Sandra Brown, Stephen King, his earlier years and Geoffrey Chaucer (what a smart-ass)

Heroes:
