XS Groove

About Me

XS Groove was formed through old friends and a keen interest in funky music. It all started as part of the commercial music course at Bath Spa University. But since then has became a lot more serious. We take our influences from a lot of Funk, Soul, Blues, Rock, reggae and Hip-Hop.
XS Groove is the best night out you've ever been to with funky tunes, beautiful girls and cheap drinks if we have anything to do with it!! so, we bring the party, You bring the people and we hope to be dancing away in a venue near you soon....

"A formidable arsenal of funky, sexy and downright soulful rhythms, reminding me bizarrely of Bill Withers" - Antonio Fictitio (Moles) 11/02/08
"Were it not for the fact he's now pushing up daisies, you could almost see James Brown himself in the audience, tapping his foot in approval" - Antonio Fictitio (moles)11/02/08
"XS Groove followed next, and immediately changed the tone of the evening to something entirely more funky. The lead singer's vocals had a resonance and maturity which belied his age, and added a soulful and professional sheen to what was already a pretty top-notch rhythm section. With music such as theirs, it is often difficult to sound highly original due to the more specific sounds of their genre, but the grooves and melodies stood out really well, and the band held their own in what was proving itself to be a night of remarkable quality and musicianship.l" - Antonio Fictitio (moles) 10/03/08
