Ivar & Guy started to write new songs and in the meantime they started the search for a new bass player. After a short search former Operation Trendkill vocalist Edo Kort tipped them about Tonnie de Jong. Tonnie was the bass player of Rock formation Virtuosa and was looking for a new band to play more challenging (heavy) music. One practice session was enough to make Tonnie a full-time member of the band. After the entry of Tonnie in January 2007 the guys began serious song writing. But where is a metal band without a brutal vocalist? The search for a new singer took a lot of time. However in September 2007 Guy came in contact with Anna Ivanchenko.Anna had some experience in a school band and a cover band. Although, during her first practice session the guys where blown away by Anna’s voice. So in September 2007 there was a completed band and Stir Up Hatred was born, a new Dutch heavy metal band. The music contains brutal palm muted riffing, a pounding rhythm section and a thundering female voice. The band main influences are Born From Pain, Chimaira, Korn, Machine Head, Metallica and many more.In Januari 2008 Stir Up Hatred has recorded a demo with Bram Bol. The songs are mixed and the demo will be come out soon! The first gig at Flintys, Haarlem, at January 15 2008 was mayhem and Stir Up Hatred is ready to destroy a venue near you!And here we have some videos (not the all song, just part of it)stir up hatred@flintys (haarlem)New songs (not recorded)
