ENDORSEMENTS

When I heard Johnny Price and The Rhythm Riders belt out songs like “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Big River”, and “Daddy Sang Bass” I knew that there was no question, this is the real thing, not an imitation. Johnny Price doesn’t even have to try, he just is Johnny Cash. After hearing The Rhythm Riders I called Johnny Price and said to him: “John Boy let’s go make history together. On March 7th & 8th 2008 I had the honor of playing with The Rhythm Riders and I can honestly say that after playing with Johnny Cash for 37 years I never played a better show or had more fun than I did with The Rhythm Riders. They sounded great and the show could not have been better. This is a world class Las Vegas, Branson style show. I am proud to say I have played with The Rhythm Riders and look forward to making history together. Johnny’s wife, Dee Price is a world class singer herself, reminding me of Patsy Cline and Anita Carter, yet with a distinctive sound that is clearly her own. Her Patsy Cline tribute “San Antonio Rose” is second to none.

--W.S (Fluke) Holland, Johnny Cash’s drummer for 40 years and original member of The Tennessee Three

I went to the March 7th 2008 concert to see my old friend W.S. Holland perform with The Rhythm Riders and do their Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline tributes and I was blown away. I had no idea The Rhythm Riders were so good. It was a world class show bar none. When you hear Johnny Price and The Rhythm Riders perform those familiar ballads of Johnny Cash, it’s undeniable that it’s the closest to the real Johnny Cash you ‘re going to hear. Close your eyes and you’ll swear you’re listening to Cash. I’ve had the pleasure of working with John and his wife, Dee Price, who has one of the best voices in female country music. When you are listening to her Patsy Cline tribute “San Antonio Rose” you can close your eyes and believe you’re listening to the real Patsy Cline.

--Biff Adams, drummer for Merle Haggard for 37 years

I heard The Rhythm Riders do their Johnny Cash Tribute “Back in Black,” and I can honestly say these guys are as good as anyone I have heard. They look and sound great. They have created a great Johnny Cash tribute band and they really capture the original Johnny Cash/ Luther Perkins sound.Johnny Price does an amazing Johnny Cash. They really know their craft. They are obviously pros.

--Noel Dean, former drummer for Tanya Tucker, Barbara Mandrel & Doug Kershaw

The Rhythm Riders have created a fantastic Johnny Cash Tribute, “Back in Black,” and they are unbelievable. I thought I was listening to the real Johnny Cash. What a tremendous show.If you are a Johnny Cash fan, this is a must-see show. I was awestruck.

--Dr. Doug Yarris, member of the Solano County Film Commission. Coordinator/Director for the release of the Warner Bros. movie: “The Sphere”

The Rhythm Riders deliver some of the greatest Country Christian songs ever written—led by a great front man Johnny Price, accompanied by the world-class voice of his wife, Dee Price, and backed by a superb band!
