After a little bit of practice JT was DJing at alot of house parties. Friends from School would hire him to DJ at their houses during DP's, Ditching Parties, and loved every minute of it. Soon after Graduation he started hitting the Club Circuit, First Underground Clubs and Parties hosted by Party Crews to Mainstream Club appearances to clubs like Geckos, Florentine Gardens, Incahoots, Club Azul, Metropolis, The Ice Palace, The College Circuit, Off Campus, Cowboy Boogie, Naked, Cyberkid, and Rubber just to mention a few. During this tenure JT got to open for some great DJ's like Richard Vission, Tony B., DJ Irene, Angel Alanis, DJ Bam Bam, Alex Peace, DJ Alex Dreams, Daxid X, David Delano, Bad Boy Bill, Carl Cox, Robbie Rivera, Duke, Cesar G., Jonny Lexxs and Judge Jules during one of his visit's to the U.S. And some people call this work, JT was having a ball, partying every weekend. Getting paid to place plastic disc's on turntables and listening to music. It was ideal. Then JT was approached by a couple of Producers who he had went to school with for a short period of time who operated under the Name The Dynamic Dual, Cesar G. and Jonny Lexxs owned and Maintained a record Label, Dynamic Tracks Los Angeles, and International and a track with Erick Morillo's Label Subliminal plus a few white labels over the years, and began Promoting and DJ with them at several of their venues. In the Later part of the 90's they had also acquired a record store and called it Upbeat Records where JT was a resident DJ. It was definately a highlight in his career to be a part of something so spectacular. In College JT took up Radio Broadcasting with a minor in production and soon began a radio mix show on KBPK a local, low frequency radio station out of Buena Park, CA and operated a mix show with local Talent who sent in demos as well as carried a residency on the station for about a year. Since then, JT has done mainly domestic travel to different venues in and around the U.S.- Chicago, Seattle, San Diego, Rosarito MX, Miami, New York, and Texas. A new addition JT had built a production studio and has began to produce some great tracks. " Call it my attempt of keeping the vibe alive with my own, unique style." In 2005 Jtgroove was lucky enough to land a monthly residency on XM Radio Channel 80 "The Move" while playing locally at Major venues in Hollywood (Heaven, Spundae, The white room, Avalon) with greats like Cody Lee, Armin Van Buuren, Crystal Method, Dekay, Markus Schultz, Sandra Collins, Collette & Todd Terry. In 2007 Jt teamed forces with John Napier in Nashville TN and has played numerous clubs in the South, Kiss Afterhours, Maximum Bandwith, Twinnz, Decades, Barcar and the Blue Room. Jt is also on a weekly internet radio show called The Nocturnal Beat on In too Deep Radio which is based out of LA, CA. Jt also holds the number one rank dj title on the DJ list in Nashville, TN for the last 12 months.January 2008 Jtgroove and John Napier host In2deepradio.com's show The Nocturnal Beat based out of Nashville, TN and airs on In2deepradio.com on Saturdays from 8-11pm Nashville time.
