BJORN*NICLAS got his first taste of progressive beats in his native country of Sweden. Tired of listening to the pop music his country is known for, he began his quest to find music with a deeper, more complex sound. Soon after discovering that others craved the same sound, he began playing the music he loved in the clubs of his hometown.
Soon after relocating to San Francisco, he became the resident dj of the legendary San Francisco after hours party, The Penthouse, where he has kept the party going until the wee hours of the morning with his unique style of progressive house.
BJORN*NICLAS is also Resident DJ at Ruby Skye San Francisco, and one of the few that can call a super club Ruby Skye home, where he has played with talents like, DJ Irene, Matt Darey, Doc Martin to Sharam (Deep Dish) and fellow Swedish DJ star Steve Angello, Shapeshifters, John Creamer and Cedric Gervias, Deep Voices, Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate, Martin Roth, DJ Dan, Richard Vission, Darren Emerson, Josh Gabriel, Dirty South and many more.
BJORN*NICLAS spins for SPUNDAE and Mixed Elements, the two biggest nights at Ruby Skye San Francisco.
When BJORN*NICLAS is not busy traveling as a Tour Manager for different European DJs and DJing himself, he spends his time in the studio where he works on original tracks and remixes, with upcoming releases on Spundae Music and Lunatique Records and collaboration with Michael Conway, under the pseudonym "Niclas & Conway".
BJORN*NICLAS is also the founder of TORQ, the bay areas biggest club night for EDM for 18+ and over. Held at one of the top clubs in the US, Ruby Skye, this once a month club night is a huge success and not to be missed with talents like Marcus Schulz, Gareth Emery, Menno De Jong, Marcus Schossow, JES and Cosmic Gate, Kyau & Albert to name a few
BJORN*NICLAS also assists in Co-producing off site events such as Tiesto in Reno and Tiesto in Sacramento and other large DJ events.
