Click on picture to download the new album Chicago MadridEmcee Kre8(create), was born in the country of Mexico, but moved to the windy city of Chicago at a early age. Raised on the south side of Chicago with his parents and neighboring relatives. Childhood was no different than any other, or simply put there was nothing special about it. Always into his school work since an early age, emcee kreate thrived academically throughout elementary school. In high school his perception of the world around him changed. He no longer cared about his grades, in opposition to his parents wishes. He went through high school with out making a name for himself either it sports or in his school work. It wasn't until the end of his senior year that he began expressing his experiences and emotions through written work. Poetry had always been a major interest, but it had never manifested itself in the ideal of him wanting to write his own works. He credits most of his newfound interest on his exposure to the underground hiphop scene, which for the former part of his life hadn't been exposed to him. Upon graduation he went to college with the ambitions of majoring in philosophy. His writing in meantime continued to progress, yet still remained expressed in a poetic structure. It wasn't until mid year of his freshman year in college that he began to write rhymes when he stumbled upon the songs/works of a Mexican emcee named boca floja. Who in more than one way, helped solidify his theoretical and sociological perspectives of the world. At this point he rapidly filled up several notebooks in attempts to diversify and better illustrate his points of views through rhymes. Through all of this, he didn't record any of his work; until august of 2007 when he hooked up with friend and fellow mc reborn. During this meeting of word manipulators, the duo created three songs which were then featured on reborns second solo cd "revived." After this meeting of minds kreate then decided to embark on his on creation of a cd. So again for the last 4 months of 2007 he ripped through notebooks like jaws did through boats in the old movies. Finally in late December He acquired the equipment necessary to lay down some vocals, he began to record his written work. The product which can now be seen on this page. Topics range from everything from love, politics, and just random experiences of his life that get represented through metaphor. Take a listen and say what you think of the work. Tracks will constantly change as he is constantly in the writing process. A original and debut album is in the works, but has no fixed date for release. Peace Out and One Love.
