Li Xiaochuan

My name is Li Xiaochuan, graduated from Shanghai Conservatory in year 2005 and studied classical trumpet. I was a member of Shanghai Conservatory Youth Orchestra. I have been studying jazz music which I have a huge interest on. I have also joined in Shanghai Jazz Orchestra,and played at Shanghai Jazz Festival 2006. Moreover,I organized a jazz band called 'E-Groove',which plays our original music, and also some jazz standards with new arrangements. I have been playing at different venues through Shanghai, such as Jin Mao Tower Concert Hall, Shanghai art Theatre, and Shanghai Centre Theatre.I also have been playing at Club Jz Shanghai,The door Club, Melting-pot bar etc. Currently,I am studying in Jazz Studies at University of North Texas.
