One icy winter night we were sitting in a miserable mood in a living room in a grey German provincial town when we thought of how one day the world and everything including it (including us) would be destroyed…. There were some people, two friends around with records and turntables… so we decided that even if tomorrow would be the last day of this planet - today we just would enjoy it, have some more drinks & music, a little dance… and that’s all about how the party started.
Few months later and in 1350 kilometres distance some of us gathered again – this time on the paradise-like, peaceful little island Ibiza… Yes, some of you might know this crazy place which helps healing your soul… It’s not just the sun, the music and the partys – it’s all the little wonders that appear and happen to you in the most unexpected moments…
So we started the Wonderworld project in fall 2004 with a series of partys back in Germany and invited some young, talented DJ-friends from the island to come to play at Le Fonque, Club Finca, M1 The Club… In 2005 we started with five partys in Ibiza in a club in Playa den Bossa… in 2006 we occupied some off-locations like the beach club Blue Marlin or the Es Vive Hotel and started working with some ambitioned DJs like Vera or Federico Molinari…
In 2007 finally we found the coolest open air venue you can have on the island – The Zoo, a former place for animals and the funniest and most Wonderworld-like place you can imagine… 2008 will be another great summer for sure! This summer you can expect some public partys and some private after-h partys as well, so keep updated here on myspace… viva la fiesta!
