Born in Israel in 1976, son of a professional classical musician, Yonatan studies the piano at an early age. Due to his fathers work the family moves to the United States, then Germany and Italy, where Yonatan currently lives. In Israel he starts playing bass guitar and drums and develops a passion for heavy guitar music. He studies Sound Engineering and becomes Assistant Engineer and then Sound Engineer of Sigma Studios of Tel Aviv. On return in Italy he starts working at the Studiottanta Fortuna Records of Asti where he collaborates with italian artists Paolo Conte and Nando de Luca , Sinergy Electromantic Studio of Turin , DB One Music where he works with italian artist Robi Facchinetti, PR Studio and Solid Groove Studio of Bergamo where he works with Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Clive Bunker (Jethro Tull), Morris Albert, italian artist Iva Zanicchi and others. His first experience as a DJ is at DB One Music where he collaborates with Kim Lukas, DJ Luca Baldini and others. He develops a passion for Hip Hop and forms the duo "SEFA MCs" which has released one album produced by Yonatan named "The Beginning" (released by Blond Records). He also produces for other rappers in Italy and abroad and starts to perform as a DJ in various clubs in Bergamo and Milan. He than starts to explore the world of Lounge and Funky Breaks which friends Livio on the mic and Max Milesi on the Saxophone in the "Sababa" project, performing in various venues in Bergamo and Milan. Ultimately his interest focuses on Electronic Club Music and together with his friend and partner Yakov (Kooki) Salinas from Tel Aviv he forms the duo "Yud Kei", which is the fruit of all past experience. Yud Kei's first release, The Mercurial Flash EP is out june 2008 with swiss house/electro label 2Delicious Recordings. Yud Kei also sign with irish label Shabuum/queep and american label Filthbox Records for releases and remixes due summer 2008. In Israel, Yud Kei hook up with israeli Hip Hop band "Zula Members" and together form "Yud Kei Zula", debuting this summer in Israel with the full length album "Chetzi Kilo" released by israeli label Shaked Productions.
