In the case of good books, the point is not how many of them you can get through, but rather how man

About Me

Well I'm not big on self promotion, but I'll give it a shot. I was born and raised in San Jose, I graduated from SJSU where I became a proud brother of Sigma Delta Alpha. I tend to be a bit shy when I meet someone new, but don't worry it wears off quickly and I'll have you rolling on the floor soon enough (with laughter!...It's a shame I have to clarify this but most of my friends have dirty minds). My personality is somewhat hard to be placed in any one category, because I feel as comfortable kickin it at a BBQ drinking with friends as I do putting on a shirt and tie and going to a nice restaurant. I guess that is it, anything else you want to know just ask. I'm tired of writing about ME, so let me leave you with a few public service announcements..."Stay In School" "Take A Bite Out Of Crime" "Just Say No!" "Give A Hoot, Don't Pollute" and "Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires".

My Interests

Going out, relaxing after work with friends, reading, following my favorite sports teams, and sleeping. Never underestimate the value of a good nap, especially after a night of partying.

I'd like to meet:

I'm not going to lie, a beautiful woman will always grab my attention initially. The trick is keeping me interested, and that cannot be done with physical beauty.I'm a sucker for intelligence and a great personality, and it could be from street smarts to good old-fashioned book learning. Combine that with a sense of humor and the ability to get along with my family and friends and you will ALWAYS have me coming back for more. More of what you may ask? It could be your friendship or something else, all I'm really looking for is cool people to interact with.

Music:

My tastes vary, so thank God for MP3 players that hold 3,000 songs. I listen to Oldies, Hip-Hop, Rancheras, Cumbias, Nortenas, Banda, Salsa, Alternative, and Classical

Movies:

Too many to actually pick favorites, so here is a random sampling of my DVD collection. I figure if I actually paid money to buy the DVD I must like the movie. Stand By Me, The Outsiders, 12 monkeys, American Me, Blood in Blood out Bound By Honor, Stalag 17, Leon The Professional, El Mariachi - The original low budget movie by Robert Rodriguez before Antonio Banderas came in for the sequel, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas - Can't miss with a movie about a Vegas road trip.

Television:

The Simpsons and Family Guy. Any other day of the week I have no problem making plans and leaving the house, but on Sunday nights I'm at home watching tv!

Books:

For some reason I've been reading a lot of the classics lately, I figure it is because I never read them while I was growing up (too busy getting into trouble) so I'm making up for it now. I recently read For Whom The Bell Tolls, Wuthering Heights, The Odyssey and I am currently reading Elizabethan Drama by Marlowe and Shakespeare.

Heroes:

My Parents. All they ever wanted was a better life for their kids, so I strive everyday to make them proud.
