I guess this is the part where I tell you about my self, like what I’ve done, where I’ve been and what I’m doing. I was born and raised in the Bronx of New York City. My friends call me JAYCi, and I've been singing since I can remember.
I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of talented producers, singers and writers. I've been to tons of studios from the basement of someone’s home, to the most professional set up you can imagine. This journey has definitely been a learning experience for me, as well as a frustrating one, but I believe everything has its time and its season. I have my own pre-production studio at home that enables me to put together ideas. I’m currently learning more about the technical aspect of music, so that I may master the art of being my own producer. I have my professional monitors, pre-amp, mixing board, microphone and all the software I need to help me get things started (sort of got tired of waiting around for anyone to make things happen for me, so I make them happen). I am working on my writing and have been collaborating with many successful producers.
I love what I do! I’m not in this for competition or to be in the front page of a magazine. I enjoy having others enjoy my music; that’s a reward in it self. I’m not concerned about changing who I am to be like who they want me to be. I know my lane; I know what I can do, through God who strengthens me, I can do anything! Anyone who’s met me can tell you! I’ve made a lot of sacrifices that no one thought or thinks it is worth it and it really doesn’t matter, so as long as I know what I’ve done, what I’m doing and where I’m going. My strength, my endurance, my ability to persevere and to conquer the obstacles have been because of the grace of GOD and his son Jesus Christ!
