So, what to tell you about me... Well, my name is Amanda and I am currently living in Fairbanks, Alaska. I really shouldn't say currently because I love this place and I'll be sticking around for a while. I moved up here about 6 years ago with my mom and my brother because my mom wanted to be closer to family. She must have been out of her mind... No honestly, I love my family and sometimes it's great to have them around. I am in love with the Harry Potter series. I feel guilty about loving them as much as I do because they're a fourth grade reading level...but it's all good!! And my favorite book of all time would have to be Monsoon by John Ballard.

Heroes:

My mom and dad. I know that's a fairly generic answer....but they really are and were good people. My dad always had a way of making his dreams come true, whether it was building his own business or sailing around the world. He passed away at the age of 51 and always said that he had no regrets because he had done more in 51 years than most people do in 80. My mom has the most amazing personality. She attracts people wherever she goes and always seems to know how to fix my stupid little moods when things don't go my way. She's the only parent I have left and I don't know what I would do without her.
