Hi there! I'm Jubie. Nice to meet you. In the words of my ex's housemate, "She's a really lovely girl. A bit strange though." Yeah, I can live with that.
Well, I am who I am - Just turned 21, and every day turning into more of a geek and metalhead. I'm often found in Camden me (more and more these days) at gigs and clubs. Or else I'll be at the Rising Sun, the Face Bar, or the Turks, all conveniently located in my Uni town of Reading. Well, I say Uni town, it's been my home for three years now; I doubt I'll ever live in my parents' town again. Admittedly, Kingston does contain my 2 best friends in the world, but still, Reading is the place for me. I've made some of the best friends I've ever had here.
But I digress. You want to know more about me, right? Otherwise you wouldn't be here. So yes, as I said, metalhead. Favourite band I have to say is Iron Maiden - love Heavy, Power, Doom, and just starting to get into Black and Thrash thanks to the lovely influence of my friends. But to my everlasting humiliation every damn week at the TUC (that's the Face Bar to non-Reading-ites) I can't deny an embarassing love for more "mainstream" metal and rock, and even *cringes* some pop-punk shite.
Again, as I've said before, I'm turning into more and more of a geek everyday. My housemates have got me into role-playing, bless em, and I kinda love it...LARP and Warmachine FTW (although I am as yet to be dragged into 40K - still, there's time.)
I have an amazing boyfriend, Matt, whom I love very much and consider myself very lucky to be with. I'm currently studying in the beautiful town of Padua in Italy, and am fortunate enough to have this wonderful man visit me every few weeks. He will be moving here after the new year until I move back to Reading.

Oh, and just in case you can't tell from the profile, i love the combination of black and pink...yes I'm "alternative" and yes I'm a girl.
