About Me

Fiddler, Singer, Guitarist, Songwriter Born in Texas, raised in Alabama, my roots are in the rich musical heritage of Texas and the Deep South. I love traditional songs and tripping out musically. Currently in the process of making my solo album, I am a member of Austin-based Ridgetop Syncopators (Mark Rubin, Sean Orr, Ricky Rees, Joe Cordi, Andrew Halbreich). I have played with or play with the following: Texas String Drive, Cooper's Uncle, Brennen Leigh, Erik Hokkanen & The Gypsy Tribe, Johnny Gimble and other projects. ~Finding and being true to the inner musical voice--and gaining the confidence and articulation to clearly express your ideas (but mainly just to get people dancing)--is a satisfying endeavor~

Peace Fiddle

If everyone could play, if we could just all get together and play some tunes. Forget all the other stuff--wars, guns, hate, anger. Put down the guns and play.

Quote

Musical development is a paradox for life's journey....we are all just just learning how to communicate/ get our point across a little better every day.
