Maria Petrou is a Greek Songwriter. She was born in London to Mr. and Mrs. Antonis Katranis, the last of twelve children.Maria enjoyed writing poetry as a teenager, and has a strong belief in family and quality of life.She never shared her poems or songs. Only because she preferred to just keep them for her eyes only. Maria found herself on a rollercoaster. She wrote more and more. Without thought. Some songs would be written in just lyric form, and others with a melody. She never knows when the lyrics or melodies will appear in her thoughts.She loves music. All sorts of styles and instruments. She loves spending time in the studio recording her demo's. She enjoys creating the song, and works closely with her music producer to bring to life what she feels, thinks, and writes.Maria does not settle for anything less than perfect. She believes in what she writes, and what her sounds/music convey.She creates along side Evripidi Evripidou to produce songs she writes.
