My life is pretty much completely and utterly consumed by music. I wouldn’t say that it is completely and utterly consumed by drumming, but certainly hitting things with sticks and making a lot of noise doing so is a big part of it. However, if you do want to pigeonhole (and it seems everyone is very keen on that these days), then yes I am primarily a DRUMMER. I have studied and played just about any style of music I could handle, including rock, jazz, prog, metal, blues, funk, latin, orchestral percussion, rudimental, I could go on but you get the idea. I am also fairly capable with a guitar, a bass, even a piano (it's good to be versatile). Stylistically, my drumming has a big 70's rock influence from years of listening to (and copying) Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, became a bit more technical with my study of percussion and rudiments, and copped an even share of jazz finesse and metal brutality along the way.
