Worksound

Work/Sound's, located at SE 8th and Alder in Portland, OR, has a mission to cultivate experimental and innovative contemporary art and music. We are closely tied to the emergence of new art forms – performance art, video, installation, improvised and performance music, and language poetry. Worksound collaborates with artists, writers, and musicians in the production and presentation of new work, and exhibitions and events that challenge the boundaries of conventional practice, while encouraging broad public appreciation and access to the arts and contemporary culture.
