HANDGUNS FOR HEARTS[ARE NO LONGER]

About Me

in the suMmer of 2005 mike and grant were inspired to make a cover of a song named 'gold' by spandau ballet and it turned into something much more. callum went to a few prActices and then louis and james joined, the full line up was formed late September. in late july louis parted ways with the band, and left mike to step iN as the new singer of handguns for hearts. "we are basically a punk band which incorporate a lot of different genreS of music which we have all grown up on. some of those being 80's rock, jazz, electro pop, country, metal, etc. we're not focusing on bringing those genres of music back frOm the dead but mixing those styles into our music. we are working on lots of stuff at the moment and if there are aNy songs we post on here it is likely to be a home recording. we have all contributed to the lyrics and song writing which creates a unique style." our name was inspired by Alkaline Trio lyrics. we have just started gigging, so if anyone wants us to play, send us an e-mail and we'll see what we can do.
