About Me

My name is Hadyn Buxton. I produce, engineer & remix music. In 98’ I started work in the audio industry at Metropolis Audio in South Melbourne Australia. I began as the studio errand boy and eventually became the main assistant engineer working along side local and international sound engineers and producers such as Doug Brady, Chris Dickie, Tony Cohen, Ross Cockle, Rob Feaster, Michael Letho, Adam Rhodes, just to name a few. After a while i gained the confidence of certain producers, other engineers and artists and started tracking and editing duties and eventually became one of the main in house music engineer at the studio. My time at Metropolis gave me a solid background of established and conceptual recording & mixing techniques as well a wealth of live recording in the studio’s Outside Broadcast truck. I worked alongside artists like John Farnham, editing and mixing of live recordings of bands like The Dandy Warhols, sessions with international artists such as Will Smith and members of Queen, as well as local independent and signed artists. In 2006, after 8 years, I parted ways with the studio and set up my own Pro Tools HD 3 mixing facility in the bay-side area of Melbourne. Over the last 18 months I have worked with bands & artists whose styles range from rock and pop to acapella, jazz, punk rock and hip hop, as well as mixing music for film and TV.My own mixing facility fulfills a dream that I have had since starting in the industry and I am continuing to work with new and current clients engineering, mixing and producing between my own studio and other commercial facilities locally and nationally. If you’d like to contact me please send me a message
