The wedding singer is probably my favorite. I also like Napoleon Dynamyte, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original), Taking Lives, Cocktail, etc.. I could go on for hours. I'm not into romance, even though the Notebook was GREAT, or major actions.
When I get to watch t.v. (which isn't often, unless you count the numerous kids shows i watch all day) I'm a HUGE fan of Viva La Bam and Wildboys! Pretty much anything that has hot guys makin asses of themselves:) & Mad T.V. Jerry Springer, Maury, and soaps are my daily thing.
Anything written by V.C. Andrews. Dean Koontz and Stephen King are good also. If the plot is good I'll give it a chance.
