IT IS WORTH SAYING HERE THAT MANY OF THE VIEWS BELOW ARE MY OWN, AND NOT NECASARILY THE VIEWS OF ANY VOLUNTARY ORG'S I WORK ALONGSIDE, ............................................................ .................................................. i believe that government should be OUR servant, that authority should be IN your specialised area of work or study or pastime, not OVER other people, that individuals and communitites should be free to empower themselves, and be self determining and free, after all, isnt that why most of our ancestors were taught that they gave their lives? in our UK, we are disqualified from powering our own communities, and here is one example who this is done.... take for example the argument for and against nuclear/corporate electric power production versus wind and solar... we are railroaded into believing that wind and solar are (-they dont needed to be super efficient to run your own needs or a small community-) primitive and not viable enough to run our nation.. this is a lie, and is not the real argument, the REAl argument is thus..... EVEN margaret thatcher talked about the right to opt out and have self determination, and on that matter, we should all agree, no matter how mad the daft cow was, and she too, offered us the right to opt out of whatever state control there was and do it for ourselves, however, that did not happen, by the time they, the conservatives finished and new labour kicked in, we had been tricked into handing our services and power over to private corporations, and the big "HOWEVER" is thus.. nuclear power is PERFECT for corporate interests as you cannot have a power station in your back yard, you and your community CAN though, OPT OUT of that AND HAVE YOUR OR YOUR COMMUNITIES OWN WIND AND SOLAR POWER FOR YOU AND YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD, and this is a VERY IMPORTANT REASON WHY WE ARE NOT ENCOURAGED TO hear what the real issues are, LETS GET REAL, LETS EMPOWER OURSELVES BEFORE THEY RUN OUR VERY EXISTANCE, AND WE BECOME SLAVES AND ARE EXPECTED TO PAY FOR OUR OWN SLAVERY, (refering to ex bank of enlgand boss) WE ARE BEING CONDITIONED TO BELIEVE WE HAVE NO POWER LITERALLY AND SYMBOLICALLY TO DETERMINE OUR ONW LIVES and how ethically we run pour communities, if we have to REAL right to opt out then most of their power over us disipates, they have no power over us but fear... ......................................................... and keeping us afriad is all they are good at............ ........................................................... ........................................................ WE CARVED, BIULT AND LIVED THERE FOR 5YEARS. ......................................................... ......................................................... ......................................................... .........................................................NOW THAT WE HAVE some woods OFFICIALLY we live and learn . we have wind and solar power, oour own bee hives, and are continually adding to the food we grow there. our aim is to be truly sustainable. we believe in living in an eventual "symbiosis" with the earth. and many of us believe in native celtic spirituality. .......................................................... .......................................................... ..........................................................i am at the begining of gathering logs to build my own log cabin there. slow, but no hurry... this is fine as there are many pine trees which NEED taken out. and then replanted with native species. when we have more native than invasive species, we will then introduce more native creatures too! ..........................................................vo luteers are welcome! but ALWAYS ASK, for obvious safety, and to keep hassle away.... ........................................................... but we are SICK off useless "crusty" festival going assholes who think they are underground! so druggy drinkers STAY AWAY, been there, dunnit, wore the bunnit, we dont care if you are poor or rich, university or unemployed, if you love celtic things, and nature, then come along and see, in time! ......................................................... i recently aquired an old 16channel mixing desk which came from shepperton studios, and was probably used by the likes of the who. i will set it up with firewired audio interface into CUBASE, and add whatever comes along to it. the vision here is to set it up in thew south west of scotland ......................................................... .........................................................i enjoy recording my own rustic dance music influenced by psi-trance, house music, and by the rythms of ealry hawkwind and certain of the GONG sounds. and suprisingly skiffle and early r&b and r&r and rockabilly rythm.. and why not... i will be using sounds of the woods we live in and edit and arrange thjem into the music. an ongoing vision that i have had, and hope to carry on in various forms, i love using the old roland MC-505 groovebox, and love my double bass! maybe see you all at BIG GREEN GATHERING!
