Right now - I'm completely into Texas Hold'Em poker (and not too shabby if I don't say so myself). I have managed to turn a modest profit at the small cash tables I play at. However, it will be a long road to the WSOP until I win the lottery to-boot. When life permits, I enjoy going to movies, reading, cooking and crafts. I'm a council member for my son's cub scout pack and my daughter is invovled in Girl Scouts. I sing for my husband's choir when I can.
I've met a lot of real interesting people over my lifetime (ask me about Tom Cruise at the Riverside International Raceway sometime). Also - everyday people can be very interesting also.Daniel Negreanu, Tom Lederer and Annie Duke. There are several people from the past that I would have loved to meet. . . . . Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Freud, Einstein, Anne Frank, Benjamin Franklin, Carl Sagan, W.A. Mozart are the first ones to come to mind.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v449/Raidr/LJcrap/bor

I think that it would be a no brainer to list LOTR. AUGUST RUSH!!!! I also like film noir Bogie and Bacall, MGM Musicals and Monty Python. Some of my favorite all time movies include, Shadowlands, the remake of The Razor's Edge with Bill Murray; who doesn't like Beaches (even though it's a cry fest)?; Rex Harrison's The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, the Rocky Horror Picture Show. . . . . . MOVIES THAT ARE A WASTE OF CELLULOID are The Abyss, The Relic, The Piano.
Okay - I haven't been able to watch a lot of television lately - but the following are shows that I used to watch. The Man from Atlantis (Patrick Duffy in those yellow speedos - 12 yr old girl could never get enough of that), Quincy, CSI-Las Vegas, House, Scrubs, Frasier
Again - no brainier, LOTR (however, the Two Towers is my fav)and others written by Tolkien (my bookshelves overflow). Dear and Glorious Physician by Taylor Caldwell, Watchers by Dean R. Koontz (like a lot of Koontz), Stephen King, John Nance, The Belgariad and The Guardians of the West by David and Leigh Eddings, Dragon Riders of Pern, Chronicles of Amber, books by Raymond Feist, Stephen R. Donaldson . . . . . .
Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee
