Music & Art for Christ (MAfC) -Eastern Europe. www.mafc.art.pl_____________________________________________ __________________________________________The purpose of Music & Art for Christ is reaching people with Gospel of the salvation in Christ Jesus by means of art, music and theatre.____________________________________________________ ___________________________________ We operate nationwide but currently our main focus is the city of Poznan / POLAND in Europe and nearby towns such as Gniezno / POLAND in Europe. Our regular collaborators are born again Christian professional artists: musicians, worship leaders, poets, painters, a graphic designer.Organizing exhibitions, art and poetry presentations, worship concerts, rock concerts we reach hundreds of young people every year._______________________________________________________ ______________________________ Music & Art for Christ provide us with better opportunities to talk about God, witnessing and preaching the Gospel openly. For years we’ve been working also in penitentiaries for recidivists and at the moment we have the opportunity to evangelize the homeless. We would also like to invite Christian bands from abroad and organize their concert tours in Poland - they’re still very attractive for youth.______________________________________________________ _______________________________ Goals -Evangelistic and artistic activity. Leaders-artists’ training, supporting work of leaders and bands. Organizing workshops and training courses for musicians. As a group of Christian artists we would like to tell people about Jesus and through our activity and witness draw their attention to words written in the Bible. In our days we want our lives to bear testimony about love and grace of our living God. We tell the Gospel about salvation in Jesus Christ, and speak of the grace and forgiveness that we have experienced. Having lived with God for many years we want to influence our environment and country even stronger and more successfully. We want to do more and that is why we need considerable support to enable us to act in the Eastern, post-communist Europe._____________________________________________________ __________________________________ -At the moment we are praying for creating Christian internet radio that will enable us to reach many people with info about home group meetings, time and place of Sunday services. It will give us broad opportunity to invite people for concerts, music workshops and Bible studies. Along with quality Christian music we want to broadcast Sunday sermons, uplifting testimonies of artists, Bible reading and information block about what we do and where one can meet Christians throughout a week.We believe such radio is in great demand – we constantly receive signals from many people waiting for dynamic and witnessing broadcasts. Our radio will be strong competition for lay media that do not present biblical values for today youth. We also need old, used instruments, guitar effects, and cables, and other things that could be helpful in this ministry and for new young musicians.__________________________________________________ _____________________________________ We want new people and artists for Jesus. Through our work we want to see the Gospel reach the musical industry and artists. Newly saved people won through our evangelistic meetings and concerts who will join our activity will get involved in proclaiming the Gospel. New artists, bands and musicians who give their lives to Jesus, will begin creating for Him, and through their concerts, exhibitions, etc., will try to reach others with the Gospel. They can also become a part of existing churches and support their ministries throughout the country with their gifts.______________________________________________________ _________________________________ We want: 1/To win new people and artists for Jesus. 2/To plant new churches. 3/And thus to fulfill a Great Commission._________________________________________________ ______________________________________ Music&Art for Christ Project means artistic activities. Currently, there are 25 people are born again Christian from Evangelical and Baptist Church http://www.k5n.baptist.poznan.plinvolved in the Project on a daily basis. They are worship leaders, poets, visual artists (graduates of the Fine Arts Academy), professional computer graphic designers, professional photographers, concerts organizers. All of them take part in concert productions, poster designing, evangelism meetings and trips to prisons.____________________________________________________ ___________________________________ We offer organizing concerts and concert tours for Christian musicians. We host foreign bands in Poland by arranging accommodation, meals and meetings with youth.______________________________________________________ _________________________________ We need your prayer support.
