"Formed in January of 2005 Interrupted silence have progressed from playing covers to earn "some cash" to buy equipment to writing their own material. Their style has many influences from fast, thriving intros, melodic verses and catchy chorus's, which when all put together creates a powerful wall of sound. Using a variety of sounds and techniques to create a distinctive sound fused with their chaotic stage presence shows the overall energy of the band. Various bands such as Radiohead, Muse and Rage against the Machine play a huge contribution to the style and sound Interrupted Silence have created which is generally based around progressive rock. This hard work, determination to succeed and original sound have earned the band a local reputation and loyal fanbase".We have uploaded our new songs so feel free to listen, download and share as much as you like. We will be giving them out free at any gigs we do so come down and grab a copy!! We wold also appreciate it if you could give us your thoughts! Please feel free to contact us at -

But I loved one of the tracks 'Ashamed' so much I played it over and over.
It's one of those songs that you instantly have to leap around to. A kind of heavy Muse, it's laced with catchy, slick riffs, interesting melody, and surprises round the corner.
The musicianship is tight and complemented by Ed Sargeant's vocal range.
I'd go as far as to say Ashamed is one the best songs I've heard from a local band. "Janet Lee. Chase Post August 2007
