About Me

i love: my beautiful daughter Dena, my loving, supportive family, my wonderful friends, my challenging boyfriend Daxs, playing pool, making cards, driving with my windows down and sunroof open, being outside, minnesota (even though i always said i was moving away when i was old enough), food, mountain dew, surfing the net, photography, twizzlers, writing - especially in calligraphy, meeting people, romance, to be tickled - not the harsh, laughing kind - the gentle sensual kind (my mom made me that way), shopping - from shoes & clothes to antiques - shopping is shopping; there's no better therapy...other than alcohol...which brings me to...booze - particularly bacardi raz or limon, martinis (the sweet variety - cosmos, etc...although i do appreciate a good dirty martini every now and then), babies, animals, reading, hammocks, laying in the sun, flying in airplanes - taking off and landing are the best; I sometimes choose flights with layovers over non-stop just to take off and land more than once, purple, my car, my house, my life; although it's rough sometimes, i appreciate what i have, and realize i could have much less. "we only have one chance here on earth - make it count!"

Country that's not too twangy (I know, EVERYONE says that..) The Wreckers, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, SheDaisy, The Chicks, Blackhawk, Kenny Chesney, "Whiskey Lullaby"...some alternative, Ryan Cabrera, John Mayer, "Destiny", by Zero 7, Cities '97 music, Norah Jones, Anna Nalick, "The 80's" Rock!...basically anything with a good beat or lyrics I can sing along with....

I love comedy, Anchorman or almost anything with Will Ferrell... or Adam Sandler, also movies with huge twists at the end like Primal Fear, that's fun... Not sure if I have a FAVORITE movie, but I really like Serendipidy, Unfaithful, Happy Gilmore, Old School
