About Me

The greatest lie in the world is that at some point we lose the ability to control our lives, and become the pawns of fate. That's from a great book called the Alchemist. I try to live with that in my mind. Our lives are products of our desires, whether conscious or subconscious. So all the friends we make or don't, the job we have, the emotional state we're in are all products of our will and perception. What The Bleep Do We Know is a great film that's all about quantam physics and how it affects our everyday life. It's a great movie if you haven't seen it, it is one of the most empowering things I've ever seen! I hear there's a sequel. . . . . . .I'll get off my soapbox now.Hey, check out my artwork. Ok, nutshell statement, my work is me creating a system of demonology that allows me to gain power over personal and social demons. I take electron microscope images of parasitic organisms and collage them, project them, anything I can think of to create images that represent these demons and their effects on me personally and society as a whole and then I create rituals and ritual objects to gain power over them. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Huge into art, love going to museums and galleries and making my own stuff. I do some metalsmithing and digital art. I just bought the new imac and got the full adobe suite. SUITE...I mean SWEET!!!

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet people who aren't afraid of being themselves.

Music:

Listening to Bjork as I type, Sufjan Stevens, Velvet Underground, Mos Def, The Mars Volta, Jeff Buckley, The Books, Deerhoof, Bright Eyes, Desperacidos, Broken Social Scene, Built To Spill, Cornershop, Bowie, Fiona Apple, Interpol, New Order, Common . . . . . My tastes are all over the place. I hate the shit they play on the radio, usually. I do like a good neptunes beat.

Movies:

Trainspotting, Dancer in the dark (it's the only movie that made me cry), What the Bleep Do We Know, Requeim for a Dream, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Run Lola Run, Lost in Translation, Crash. I like movies that stay with you, that you can talk about with your friends a week later.

Television:

Don't watch too much tv (I've only got one because my roommate owns one) but I love Gargoyles (the first season at least), X-men, The office (the british one), Chappelle's Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Robot Chicken, love the boondocks!

Books:

The Alchemist, Anything art related, Trainspotting, Porno (the sequel to Trainspotting, not actual porn), Shampoo Planet, Elegant Universe, Einstein: In His Own Words, Nickel and Dimed, Tao Te Ching, Where Eagles Fly,
