I am a confident, intelligent gal just emerging from a "quarter-life" crisis. I am currently a student, getting through my General Studies courses with the intent to major in Psychology and minor in English. After friends and family telling me for years that I should be a counselor, I'm finally heeding their advice. I want to work with teens and their families - after all the things I've dealt with in my life, especially as a teen/young adult, I feel I'm more than equipped to help that age group.
Currently, I'm a legal assistant at small law firm that represents injured workers. I am also willing pupil of what life has to teach me. I live my life by a code of integrity and compassion. My mother and younger brother are my best friends, and all my friends are akin to family in my heart.
I am head over heels in love with my boyfriend, an amazing young man named Chris. We have been dating since October 3, 2005, and moved in together only two months after we met. Crazy!
I am an extremely fallable creature, and often learn lessons the hardest way possible. I try and live life to the fullest, every day, and my willingness to try new things often borders on reckless. Mostly, I am still just a kid that had to grow up too fast, regressing in some ways, but mostly trying to learn what it means to be a happy and fulfilled adult. I like to think I'm on the right track... you know, now that I think about it, I KNOW I'm on the right track!
