It is the legacy of our parents passed unto us - the young - to question the status quo and decorum of the systems which govern us. The unique perspective of the young is the only thing which may prevent nations from falling to dust - sadly; too often is it cut off at the elbow by those old and afraid of change.
While you seek truth beware egomaniacal men who aim to give you shreds of truth mixed in with their lies, and use you as a tool for completion of their statues to themselves.
We live in a world obsessed with things temporary. From the fashions to the celebrity know-how. Being attuned to the "important" changes in lives of the stars is on par with virtue in these nights. This is foolishness and distraction

We live in a world where many parents are all too glad to leave their children to their own devices; long as the resulting carnage doesn't cost them time or money. This too is foolishness
We live in a world where a majority make the pretense of worshipping the teachings of Jesus Christ but neither follow them, nor on any level embody the enlightenment of great thinkers passed. We in aggregate are failing to improve upon what they had learned thousands of years ago. This also is foolishness
We live in a world which worships the "self". We worship the contemporary, rather than the future we may build for ourselves and those close to us. Many of us use others for the sake of feeding our Ego - a monster which can not be subdued by anything other than starvation - the more you feed it the hungrier it gets.
Rant closed:
I'm a somewhat intellectual person, I read a lot, I love studying, both of academic sort, and existential sort. I extend to 95% of all those whom I meet politeness and respect, because I know not enough of them to act with hostility and disdain.
I believe in the power of the human mind, the power of the teachings left to us by amazing people such as Siddartha, Socrates, Jesus, Nietzsche, Machiavelli (even though he was wrong, and a broken jaded shell of a man)...and so on - Faces from either side of the spectrum.
I currently working my way through college as a table monkey (or as I affectionately call them sometimes : A waitard) at an unnamed corporate joint in Shelton CT.The bottom line is simple: I am a satirist; I am a cynic; and I promise to try and be as bluntly honest with you as possible without getting arrested and/or slapped.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Friends, Jean Reno, Mana, Lots of people who died long ago, people who can make me wiser - and for the record. I now know there was nothing wrong with me other than my- at the time reference group.

I'd like to meet "God" because as the lyrics go..

Random quizzy thing.
your guardian is DREAM! "In this aspect, he is rake-thin with skin the
colour of falling snow. Dream accumulates
names to himself like others make friends; but
he permits himself few friends. Of all the
Endless, save perhaps Destiny, he is the most
conscious of his reponsibilities, the most
meticulous in their execution. Dream casts a
human shadow, when it occurs to him to do
so."As Dream's ward, you have your own code of honor
and refuse to adhere to anyone else's. after
all, so far, the world has adapted to your
ways. you do your job and you do it well.
there are tough times in your future - be
prepared. your stubborn streak will either be
your saving grace or your downfall. perceived
as gentle, you are actually much more
formidable than others think and can throw
yourself whole-hearted into a project that you
believe in. even though you have few strong
loyalties, there are those that benefit from
your protection. the odd and thankless jobs
are his.

which member of the endless is your guardian? (pics)

Wisdom for the day

A man with no integrity and little morals when let upon the world is much like a starved child with no sense of fullness. He will gorge himself on pleasure till he bursts.
