About Me

Ethan Freckleton adds pop sensibilities to his heavy roots in country, blues and classic rock music. Much like alt-country sensation Bobby Bare Jr, he was heavily influenced growing up during the grunge era and enjoys the occasional melding of loud and heavy guitar sounds with soulful roots music.

An NSAI-affiliated songwriter, Ethan has taken studied the craft with hit songwriters such as Jeffrey Steele (Rascal Flatts), Tom Hambridge (Buddy Guy), Alissa Moreno (Rascal Flatts), David Pack (Ambrosia), Rick Beresford (George Jones), Hugh Prestwood (Trisha Yearwood), Angela Kaset (Lorrie Morgan), James Dean Hicks (Oak Ridge Boys) and Don Henry (Kathy Mattea).

He has received multiple plays on Hawaii's college/rock radio station: 90.3 KTUH

Most recently vocalist/guitarist with Seattle, WA area pop/rock band The Troublefakers. In addition to playing electric guitar, does slide guitar, and bass guitar.

Previously with Alectrophobia, The Disappointments and Lust for Kicks. As a teenager, shared the stage with blues greats RL Burnside, Lonnie Pitchford, Dave Conant.
