The Sounds of Pacific Coast and Olympic Mountains.

About Me

Welcome to the sounds of Beach and Mountain inspired music. My music portrays life in the natural west coast United States. From Pacific Storms to Kerouac inspired travels, my roots are mainly Hippy Beach Music and wandering street musicians. And if you have never heard Hippy Beach Music, there is nothing to compare. Think of acoustic guitars, bongo drums and bamboo flutes playing over the sounds of wind and surf on a warm summer sunset on the Big Sur coast in California.I am an acoustic guitar player currently going through a plethora of blooming music writing/creating. I am a child of the 70’s. Meaning most of my influences involve a lot of classic progressive, melodic and alternative music from that period. Though I am predominately Italian/American somehow some spanish and old Mediterranean influences have surreptitiously snuck into my style. Most music, in the deep creative process is perhaps racial memory motivated. Being a musician, its important to be part of a musical community. Influences: I listen to alot of 70’s Prog-Rock and obscure European RIO (Rock in Opposition), Jazz, Classical and World with a smitten of Blues. Favs and influences are Danny Kerwan of early Fleetwood Mac, Frank Pahl, The Residents,Early Genesis, Anthony Phillips, Robert Wyatt, Steve Hackett, King Crimson, Leo Kotke, Jimi Hendrix, John Fahey, Yes, Spirit, Quicksilver Messenger Service. Michael Hedges, The Moody Blues, Amy Denio, and a host of similar and non-similar music. My own interest and playing style is melodic Fingerstyle and Rhythm Guitar with an ethereal bent. And lets not forget Ren and Stimpy for the comedic support. To access downloads of these songs, please visit the music store in my Soundclick link in the website section of this page.
Sounds Like: A little like John Fahey, Anthony Phillips, Fingerstyle guitar and that eerie sound in the night that lets you know the world is a speck of dust in a vast cosmos.
