I am an aspiring TV personality/host. I hope to one day be a red carpet correspondent, or host my own TV show.I just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. I am from Indianapolis, IN, but I just re-located to Chicago to intern for NBC5 and the Chicago Today Show. I WON A 2006 EMMY AWARD (Yes, just like the ones the celebrities win) for hosting "Connections Live", a cable TV show in Muncie. I can host, produce, write, report, and act, and have done so for many student-produced TV shows. I have learned so much, I feel more than prepared for a REAL reporting job!I have MC-ed events at local clubs in Indianapolis, like the Oxygen Lounge (I interviewed actor-comedian Mike Epps). I have done voice-over work, and worked as talent for promotional and informational works and PSAs. I am a member of NABJ (the National Association of Black Journalists). I've interned for Radio One Indianapolis at Hot 96.3 WHHH-FM as JJ's assistant, and I've also interned at WISH-TV Channel 8 shadowing the reporters.As you can see, I am very involved, very motivated, and very busy, but I stay enthusiastic and I am always on my grind.
