About Me

I have been in the business of promoting for 17 years. Sounds funny that I'm only in my mid thirties but my story goes like this.Remember back in the day when you were fresh to enter High School and you were still playing lazer tag? Well around that same time I was planning a party in my friends and families backyards. From that point on I realized that is what I wanted to do in life. Even when I was in Junior High I was seriously making fake flyer's for nonsense events that weren't even happening. At the age of 17 years old I was promoting a night for a club in L.A. called, "The Pasta House". It was a hiphop/jungle house style of a night but it went off. After high school the rave scene was just about getting started and I saw dollar signs. I started off doing illegal raves in closed up warehouses and houses that were for rent or just empty. From there I started doing event center style raves that weren't so illegal anymore. I then met a guy that was doing shows (concerts) in small venues and armory type places. I was extremely interested, since the rave scene was turning more to drugs and hippie type of events (nothing towards hippies). He asked if I was interested in helping out with small things like, passing out flyers, stage set up, etc. At first I thought I was above all that, I mean I had a decent name for myself doing raves why would I go backwards. But I put my pride aside and figured if I wanted in I gotta start somewhere. So I agreed, passing out flyers put up posters doing what I had to do to get people to these shows. If my mind is still correct I believe this was in 1994. The name of the promotion company was 98 Posse and for those of you that remember we did all the shows at THE BARN in Riverside. I could honestly say we dominated the Inland Empire. We did shows with such acts as: Rage Against the Machine, KORN, Deftones, No Doubt, Incubus, you name it I'm sure we did it. From flyer guy to Production Manager I went. I have done production for hundreds of events including: Hootenanny, Board in Orange County (actually, Banned in Orange County), The Glasshouse, etc. I have also worked for Goldenvoice and Bill Hardie. I have worked on shows from here to Las Vegas and also in New York and I have also tour managed. In 2003 I decided it would be good idea to go back to school and get my AA in business, so I did. In '05 I decided to come back to the only love (in a business sense) I have ever really had and that's the music business. I only wanted to come back as a booking agent at the time but the shows is what I really like so I decided to go back to doing shows while booking for a few bands. Now, you can see Paragon Booking has grown from doing $2 Sunday shows to bigger and better shows. We only plan on getting better too. I want to bring the scene back to the streets of Riverside like it used to be in the 90's.Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Good hearted people with a sense of humor. I don't connect very well with PRIMADONNA self centered people or bands. I am a very humble, happy, willing to work something out, comfortable, level headed, strict, drug free, educated, pleasing, type of person so anyone that is around me that brings me down will automatically get no response from me. I try hard to make people that are unhappy with a situation happy. If I have done something to upset you then let's sit down and talk about it. Life is too short to be angry with people. It's a waste of energy.
