I love a good movie, a great book and a powerful song...I love to travel even though I have a terrible fear of flying...I love history because I believe there is so much to learn from what others have gone through...
Anybody who lives life. I'd love to sit down and chat with Angie Jolie and listen to what she has to say about the poverty in other countries. Of course I'd love to meet Dale Jr. but not really because I'd probably be disappointed. I'd love to talk with Elizabeth Edwards and ask her how she keeps going knowing that she doesn't have much time left on this world. I want to meet everyone because I believe that each person has a gift to share with the world.

I'm a country girl at heart but there is so much out there that is great...I can only name a few of the people that I truly love because there is only so much room to write.... And these are in no particular order because I don't think I could put one before the other *Jason Aldean (his voice and lyrics are some pretty powerful stuff) *Janis Joplin (I grew up listening to her gravelly and soulful voice) *Bob Seger (His music has been part of the soundtrack to my life so far) *Allison Krauss (I'm convinced that is what angels must sound like) *Lynyrd Skynyrd (Ronnie Van Zandt was a gift who was taken from us too soon) *Patsy Cline (You can hear the cry in her voice that brings a tear to the eye) *Johnny Cash (need I say any more?) *Kris Kristofferson (a truly brilliant lyricist)
Again, these are in no particular order because I can't pick a fav... *8 Seconds (A great movie about friendship and inner strength) *Breakfast At Tiffany's (Another great movie about finding oneself) *Aunite Mame (One of movies greatest quotes "Life is a banquet and some poor suckers are starving to death!")*White Christmas (Because when Bing Crosby sings the title song it makes me remember my grandpa) *Fried Green Tomatoes (I know it's a chick flick but it's a wonderful testiomy to how powerful friendship can be) *The Unsinkable Molly Brown (no matter how down or how crabby I am this movie cheers me up)
Of course I'm a sucker for racing but I love watching the Food Network, HGTV, TCM...Miami Ink, M*A*S*H, Grey's Anatomy, Reba, King of the Hill are some of my guilty pleasures....
Anything and everything....I'm a sucker for a good romance novel but I love a good mistery...Any John Grisham book will hook me in...Any book that will make me think about it after I'm done..
People who stand up for what they believe in...Those that lead by example...Those with a caring heart, a strong shoulder,a clever mind and passion to live...Those people are my heros...Many are nameless but many aren't...Jessica, AnnMarie, Gregory, all of the men and women in service who serve this country...
