Scott Lewis is Best known as The Frontman for .............
"PARTY FREAK", Lead & harmony vocals, guitar, drums, percussion etc.
Scott also started a new project called Hillbilly Rockstarz...a harmony based Country rock band. Both bands have the high energy shows he is known for in the music scene.Scott began playing guitar and fronting a band in 1998.
That was a big change for him as guitar is not his natural instrument.
He is still most comfortable behind the drums.
He really digs hangin with the crowds...and being out front. After all... it is all about the people!
he has found in his experiences... its not always enough to be a great musician...so he always strives to be an entertainer! He love's all music and Is always willing to try anything twice..LOL!
He first stepped on the stage in Chicago at the age of 11 playing drums with musicians 20-30 years his senior, he was hooked that day...and never looked back. Since that life changing moment. He has continued playing drums and singing for many local, and a few touring bands over the years.
Such as....
"Dixie Highway", The Dynamic Duo, Cyrus Hayes Rockin' Blues Revue, Fahrenheight, The Shades, Caozz, Fathom,Free Beer Again,
The Firewood Band, Tailspin, Bluesbend, The Continentals, Southern Wind, Mark Tribune and the Alamo Band, FUNK 5, Group Galaxy,The Bandits , J.A.B.B. as well as touring nationally with "Tight Fit" from Omaha, Ne.
Opening for various major acts...(Scott)"I gotta say I still miss that bus...at times..!"
Scott then settled back home in Sweet home Chicago in the early 90's helping Dixie highway become one of Chicagolands top country bands, winning The Marlboro contry Roundup, Playing top country clubs such as: Cadillac Ranch, Dumas Walkers, Kickers Coral, Bub City, Country nights as well as Chicago's world famous- Taste of Chicago, Opening for Joe Diffie, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, and Brooks & Dunn.
After a fantastic 6 yr run. The boys od Dixie Highway-decided to take a break and try some new projects...Spawning 2 highly reputable bands, Sure Shot & Centerline...in 1998!After an amazing 10 yr run with the very successful Chicago based band CENTERLINE...Scott and his newest partner in crime Rodney Yee made a decision to put together yet another Premier Party band,PARTY FREAK...with each member...hand picked to do more than just play music...they are all excited to entertain the masses.Scott is very excited and challenged with this new projects, His hopes is to make this bigger and better than any of his other ventures, so check them out at ....
