im 17 and a senior @ OPHS ... honestly, its not that bad. yes, theres drama, but youre going to find drama anywhere you lock 1200 teenagers together for extended periods of time. ill be attending geneseo in the fall... studying business administration
i pretty much just love to have a good time
i have a boyfriend whom i love very much... kyle
he is my best friend and many have said that we are "too immature" but we have an amazing time and id do anything for him. we've been through a lot, and were going to go through a lot more... i cant wait. forever and ever... were diamond baby.
im not going to be stupid and say "my friends are so better than yours" because i would hope everyone thinks that about their own friends. but one things for sure, we arent perfect. we laugh too hard and we are way too loud, we make complete fools of ourselves, but doing it together is what makes us inseparable. i love them.

im honest... some would say im brutally honest. i just feel that all relationships are based upon honesty.
im sarcastic. i get it from my father. when you get to know me, you can tell when im being serious.
im a hopeless romantic. its one of my downfalls.
i love the summer... warm weather, the beach... i just love it.
i have a weakness for food. especially when im bored or upset. im always on a quest to kick that habit... but theres that old saying "old habits die hard". whatever. thats why i work out =)
DI has become my life ... no regrets there
my team is... amazing. we're the "ultimate team" and the click 6 is my everything.
we placed 10th @ world competition... which is pretty friggen sweet.

the piano was my first true love. i love to play and to sing. i have a tendency to randomly burst into song. quite often actually ...
i love to run and stay in shape... ive ran 2 half marathons (thats 13.1 miles) and am running two more this summer. i plan to run my first whole marathon (26.2 miles) next year w/ my dad. i work out almost everyday and i think its fun.
im a complex person, and i realize that those things that make me happy and complete today could come crashing down tomorrow. im ready for that, should it come. i try to make everyday one that i will remember.

My Interests

People don't swim because its fun. Ask any swimmer, most of them hate it, but they couldn't imagine their life with out it. Its part of them, its something they live for. They live for the 5 am practices, pasta parties, cheers, long bus rides, invitationals, countless swim caps, chlorine, and coaches you hate but appreciate later. They live for the way it feels when you beat the person next to you by a tenth of a second and you know those 2 extra laps you did in practice were worth it. You live for the way you jump every time you hear a buzzer, or the way you scream whenever you hear the gun on the 500 even though you hear it every time. You live for the way you celebrate when you get to do a set with fins. You live for the way you become a family with your team, and no one understands what happens within that pool or locker room but you. You live for the countless songs you sing in your head when you're swimming those laps. You live for the people who scream at you while your swimming even though all you hear is BLAH BLAH BLAH. You live for the competition, you live for the friends, you live for the practice, you live for the pain, it's a part of you. You're a swimmer.
