WHO:
Solomon Vivero Jr (born in Paranaque, Philippines), better known as Dj JussRight, Solly-Sol, Solly-Wally, or Loma, is an up and coming mixtape dj. He is the youngest of five children (Irene, Raoul, Raquel, Cynthia). He began to actively dj again in September 2007 after relinquishing his position as an advertising art/production manager. He is known for having a "good ear" in music as his record selection spans from the mainstream to the underground, to the "oldie-but-goodie" records. In a city that represents individuals from all parts of the continent (Las Vegas, NV, USA), Dj JussRight makes it a priority that his mixtapes appeal to the masses. Dj JussRight is reputable for incorporating turntablist techniques while dubbing his dj name in between blends or scratches, usually originating from LL Cool J's rhyme in Carl Thomas' I wish (remix).
A native of Toronto, ON, Canada; Dj JussRight became fascinated with hip hop through House of Pain's first album, (Fine Malt lyrics, 1992), in grade 6. Using his earnings as a paper-boy, Fine Malt lyrics was the first cassette tape he had ever purchased. Shortly after, his older brother, Raoul, purchased two Gemini XL1800..'s to spin his house music in the basement. This introduced Dj JussRight to the art of mixing music together--of course, only under his older brother's supervision.
A few years later, he purchased Dj Red Alert's CD, Dj Red Alert Presents (1996); and realized he was in love with hip hop and dj-ing. Although Dj JussRight's "love" for dj-ing has been on hiatus; his unwavering passion for hip hop and dj-ing persists today. Now residing in Las Vegas, Dj JussRight is not only committed keep producing mixtapes, but also help express to the world that Las Vegas is a reputable city known for talented hip hop/R&b artists.
