Adam Fox is a singer-songwriter from South-Western Ontario. He currently calls Windsor his home, but has spent time in Toronto and in Colchester on the family farm he grew up on. Adam fronted the band Ten Year Drought for the better part of a decade, a period which saw the release of an EP and two full-length albums. The band’s composition morphed over the duration and featured many talented musicians taking up a variety of instruments, including Colin Huebert (Great Lake Swimmers), Dean Drouillard, Jamie Waldron (Measured in Angles), Craig Gloster (Fjord Rowboat) and Matt and Adam Rideout (Yellowwood). However, the two constants in the band were always Fox and his long-time friend/collaborator Eric Arner.
Fox’s songs have drawn critical praise, and comparisons have ranged from Red House Painters to Califone, Neil young to Giant Sand.
“These are songs for the end of your day. This is music that
makes you hear what a sunset would sound like if it was a song.â€
